On Saturday, December 2, 2003, the first batch of Chadwick Youth Supporters of the Sunshine Blanket Foundation X Beyond Border were inducted at the Sunshine Blanket Foundation headquarters in Euljiro, Seoul.
The first batch of youth supporters consisted of nine members, Dylan Oh (G11, leader), Ernie Choi (G11, leader), Chanwoo Lee (G10), Jinwoo Kim (G10), Ryan oh (G10), Bonyeop Koo (G10), Jaden Min (G9), Chase Lee (G9), and Daniel Kim (G9). The Sunlight Blanket Foundation (sunblanket.org) is a non-profit volunteer organization that sponsors and supports independent youth and underprivileged children through various cultural activities.
It was a meaningful occasion to discuss and share the goals and objectives of the youth supporters' activities, and to determine our strong will to participate in future activities. The Youth Supporters will support young artists, youth preparing for independence, and underprivileged students. Specifically, the youth supporters will support career exploration by planning various job experiences and conferences with mentors, and underprivileged children will be introduced to and experience various cultural and artistic activities. We also plan to conduct fundraising activities to introduce and sell their works through bazaars.
We look forward to your support and interest in the activities of the first group of Chadwick Youth Supporters.
